Body Talk is the debut album by British soul/dance group Imagination, produced by Steve Jolley and Tony Swain and released in 1981 . It is one of the earliest albums of its genre to have a distinctive 'British' sound as opposed to being an attempt to recreate contemporary American styles.

" Canned Heat " is the second single from British funk/acid jazz band Jamiroquai's fourth studio album, Synkronized , released in 1999. The song was their second #1 on the U.S. Dance Chart and peaked at #4 on the UK Singles Chart. The music video was directed by Jonas Åkerlund. Guns N' Roses - Knocking on Heaven's Door (1992)

In 1987, Guns N' Roses started including the song in their live sets. A live version of the track was initially released on the maxi-single of Welcome to the Jungle the same year. They recorded a studio version in 1990 for the Days of Thunder Soundtrack , which was later slightly modified for the 1991 album Use Your Illusion II (basically discarding the responses in the second verse).
