James - Sit Down (1989)

" Sit Down " is a song by James, released in 1989 by Rough Trade Records. In its seven-and-a-half-minute original form, the song only reached number 77 in the UK Singles Chart (although it did make number Eight in John Peel's Festive Fifty of that year). Due to this unimpressive performance their record label's managing director, Geoff Travis, told them they were not a viable commercial proposition beyond an audience of 20,000. Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead Or Alive (1987)

" Wanted Dead or Alive " is a song from Bon Jovi's 1986 album Slippery When Wet . The song was written by Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora and was released in 1987 as the album's third single. During a February 20, 2008 encore performance in Detroit Michigan Jon Bon Jovi told the crowd about running into Bob Seger at a Pistons game. As he introduced his song " Wanted Dead or Alive ", he said it was inspired by Seger's " Turn the Page " hit and called the song the band's anthem. The song peaked at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and #13 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, making it the third single from the album to reach the Top 10 of the Hot 100. As a result, Slippery When Wet became the first hard rock album to have 3 top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. Read more about the song

" Just Can't Get Enough " is a song by English musical group Depeche Mode. It was released in September 1981 as the third single from their debut album, Speak and Spell (1981). It was recorded during the summer of that year at Blackwing Studios, and was the band's first single to be released in the United States, on 18 February 1982. A riff-driven synthpop song, " Just Can't Get Enough " was the final single to be written by founding member Vince Clarke, who left the band in November 1981. Read more about the song

Madonna - Frozen (1998)

" Frozen " is a song by American singer and songwriter Madonna, from her seventh studio album Ray of Light (1998). It was released as the lead single from the album on February 23, 1998, by Maverick Records. The song was written by Madonna and Patrick Leonard, and it was produced in collaboration with William Orbit. Musically constructed as a mid-tempo electronic ballad, " Frozen " talks about a cold and emotionless human being. In 2005, a judge in Belgium ruled that "Frozen" was plagiarized from a song by Salvatore Acquaviva, and was ultimately banned from the region. However, this ruling was overturned in 2014, lifting the Belgium ban on the song. In 2009, Madonna sang the song at a show in Werchter, Belgium. Read more about the song
