"I Heard a Rumour" is a song by the English girl group Bananarama from their fourth album Wow! (1987). It was also featured in the 1987 comedy film Disorderlies (starring The Fat Boys) and included on its soundtrack. "I Heard a Rumour" peaked at number 14 in their native United Kingdom, and was one of their biggest singles in the United States, reaching number four on the Billboard Hot 100. It was also a hit in nightclubs, reaching number three on the Billboard Dance Club Songs.

" Under the Bridge " is a song by American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, released on March 10, 1992  as the second single from the group's fifth studio album, Blood Sugar Sex Magik . Vocalist Anthony Kiedis wrote the lyrics to express feelings of loneliness and despondency, and to reflect on narcotics and their impact on his life. Kiedis initially did not feel " Under the Bridge " would fit into the Chili Peppers' repertoire and was reluctant to show it to his band mates until producer Rick Rubin implored him to do so.
